Or Marpe (Healing Light) was born from a personal experience of walking alongside family members who faced cancer
We walk with patients and families as they support the medical treatment process. We're here so that no family has to face the questions, decisions and weight alone, instead, they get one clear, human circle of care that strengthens the body and supports the treatment journey.
Why we founded Or Marpe
We founded Or Marpe knowing that a person facing cancer isn't dealing only with the disease itself. They're also dealing with side effects, uncertainty, emotional weight, questions, financial strain, changes at home and within the family, and often the struggle to keep working and maintain a normal routine.
This is exactly where we want to help.
Our mission is to make knowledge accessible, build complementary support baskets, help people cope with the side effects of the disease and treatments, support the body and immune system as much as possible, and help patients and families understand what they can do to support the medical treatment process, in a careful, responsible and clear way.
Looking ahead, we're working to build a broader circle of care that will include knowledge, support baskets, professionals, talks, workshops and structured guidance, so that patients and families feel they aren't alone in this.
Or Marpe works to strengthen the body and support the medical treatment process, it does not replace medical care.

Who's behind Or Marpe?
We're Guy and Ohad Shuvali, brothers, and we founded Or Marpe out of a deep love for the people of Israel and a genuine desire to help those facing cancer, and their families, through a very difficult time.
What we believe

For us, this is not just a beautiful saying. It is a way of life. To see every person as a brother or sister, to feel their pain, and to keep asking what we can do to ease it, support them, and help. Or Marpe was born from that place, an organization working to build a complementary, human and responsible circle of care that strengthens the body and supports the medical treatment process.
Guy Shuvali
Guy Shuvali leads the research and professional side of Or Marpe. Over the years he has studied, researched and walked alongside people facing cancer and their families, driven to turn complex knowledge into practical, simple and responsible help that supports the medical treatment process.
Following the successful development of the system, the doctorate was paused to co-found a startup for personalized cancer therapy, in collaboration with Bar-Ilan University and Sheba, Soroka and Shaare Zedek Medical Centers.
Ohad Shuvali
First and foremost, I'm a student of life, someone who wants to learn, grow, change for the better, and live a life of faith, giving and responsibility.
In recent years I've been in a deep process of learning, growth and drawing closer to God, wanting to live a life of purpose, faith and love for Israel. Alongside Torah study and personal growth, I work in social entrepreneurship, building projects, connecting people, leading initiatives and making ideas accessible to the public.
After years of watching Guy support patients, and seeing how the requests kept growing, I realized this knowledge and experience couldn't stay with one person alone. That's why we founded Or Marpe: a nonprofit built to take that knowledge, experience and open heart and turn them into a structured, accessible and responsible model for patients and families.
