Don't let side effects
run your life
A complementary support basket for cancer patients, to strengthen the body and support the medical treatment process.
When you're facing cancer, the journey doesn't end in the treatment room. It continues at home, in your sleep, appetite, energy, mood, and in the strength it takes to get through one more day. That's exactly why we created the Or Marpe (Healing Light) complementary support basket, a blend of practical knowledge and everyday tools for a health-supportive lifestyle, together with natural ingredients and supplements from herbs and mushrooms. These elements work together in what we call the "entourage effect", several supportive elements working together as one broader system of care, designed to help you cope with side effects, strengthen the body and immune system, and walk this path with more strength, resilience and hope.
We're here to offer a hand, a clear path and practical support, to strengthen the body and support the medical treatment you're going through.

What's inside the complementary support basket?
The elements we're building to support the medical treatment process.
Complementary support basket
The heart of Or Marpe
The complementary support basket is the core offering we're building for people facing cancer. It combines natural ingredients, supplements, practical knowledge and basic guidance, with the goal of supporting the body and quality of life during illness and treatment. The basket does not replace medical care or personal medical advice. Any use of complementary components is meant to support the medical treatment process and should be done in consultation with your treating physician or a qualified professional.

A focus on side effects
Our organization's core focus
Or Marpe focuses on one of the most painful, and least addressed, challenges of the cancer journey: the side effects of the disease and its treatments. Our goal is to help patients cope better during this period, in a complementary, responsible and clear way that supports the medical treatment process.

Supporting the body and immune system
A whole-body complementary approach
We see each patient as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. That's why the basket and guidance also address nutrition, sleep, light exposure, gentle movement, stress reduction and carefully chosen complementary ingredients. The goal is to support the body and immune system as much as possible, in a way that fits each patient's situation, strengthening the body and supporting the medical treatment process.

A growing knowledge base
Clear, simple, responsible information
We're gradually building an accessible knowledge base for patients and families, with plain-language explanations, questions worth asking your doctor, information on supplements and complementary ingredients, research limitations, safety considerations and possible interactions. The goal is to turn complex knowledge into information you can understand, verify and act on carefully.

Guidance for a supportive lifestyle
Simple tools for patients and families
Beyond the basket itself, we want to help patients and families understand what to look into, which questions to ask, and how to build a supportive daily routine during a difficult time. Our guidance covers simple principles around nutrition, sleep, light exposure, gentle movement, stress reduction and a basic understanding of the complementary options available, always to support the medical treatment process and tailored to each person's situation.

Partners, professionals and future support
Building a broader circle of care
To grow this model responsibly, we're building a network of professionals and partners: dietitians, naturopaths, emotional therapists, movement specialists, medical cannabis experts, patient navigators, content creators and professional collaborators. Our vision is to grow into a broader circle of care that combines the complementary support basket, knowledge, guidance and family support. For now, we're starting with the first support baskets, learning from real families and building the path step by step.

The vision we're building
Or Marpe was founded to build a new model of complementary support for people facing cancer, one that begins with focused support baskets and gradually expands into a broader circle of knowledge, professionals, guidance and family care. Our vision is to create a simple, clear and responsible path that helps patients understand what they can do to support the medical treatment process: how to support the body, how to cope better with side effects, which questions to ask, and how to build a sustaining routine during a difficult time.
At this stage we're starting with complementary support baskets, learning from real families, refining the model, and laying the groundwork to reach more patients, with the help of professionals, partners and donors.
Who's behind Or Marpe?
Or Marpe was founded by brothers Guy and Ohad Shuvali, out of personal experience with how hard it is for cancer patients and their families to find clarity, order and real support during an overwhelming time.
What we believe
I love every Jew as I love my own soul, with all that I am
For us, this is not just a beautiful saying. It is a way of life. To see every person as a brother or sister, to feel their pain, and to keep asking what we can do to ease it, support them, and help.
